Not sure if this has been asked before, but The median home value here is around $1,002,500, which is pretty steep. Poverty rate is 5.4%, which is pretty low. The suburbs are where most families end up. Would love some local perspective. Thanks for reading.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 12 years ago from New York and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in West. It's underrated for what you get.
Jobs: The market is pricey right now, especially in retail. If you're in finance you might struggle.
People: Generally challenging. It took about 11 months to build a solid friend group.
