Why I chose Gonzales over bigger cities

So, The unemployment rate is 0.2%, which is pretty low. Average temperature is around 68--F, so the weather is moderate. Median household income is $50,324, which feels on the lower side for the area. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Thanks for reading. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The city has invested a lot in new development. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

Public transit is hit or miss here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's not perfect but it works for me.
