Hey, I've been here for 10 years and The unemployment rate is 2.8%, which is pretty low. It's a a mid-size city city with about 103K people. Crime rate is something to consider -Goodyear sits at 201.6 per 100K. Rent is about $1,848/month for a decent place. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Looking forward to hearing from you all. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Property taxes are high but you get good services.
