Goose Creek job market vs Pittsburgh

Not sure if this has been asked before, but With a population of 46,964, Goose Creek is a smaller city. The median home value here is around $279,500, which seems about average. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Thoughts? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

I'm a chef and I've found it's not perfect but it works for me. The community is decent and there's always something going on.
