Studio apartments in Goose Creek -options?

Random thought, We have two kids and Homes are going for about $279,500 on average. Crime rate is something to consider -Goose Creek sits at 240.0 per 100K. Average temperature is around 67--F, so the weather is moderate. You can expect to pay around $1,611 for rent here. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The suburbs are where most families end up. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Let me know your thoughts. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a pharmacist who relocated here from Charlotte about 15 years ago. The main reasons were my partner's job and school.

Pros I've experienced:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Good internet infrastructure
- Four distinct seasons

Cons that are real:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Limited high-paying job options

Financially, we've found it average compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are growing, gas is average.

Socially, I genuinely enjoy living here. Hope this helps!.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 1-bedroom. I have mixed feelings honestly. Compared to Portland it's challenging.

We moved here with our family and it exceeded my expectations. Schools in The Heights area are hit or miss. Kids love it here.
