Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The weather takes some getting used to. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a contractor who relocated here from San Diego about 11 years ago. The main reasons were quality of life and my partner's job.
Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Good schools in most areas
- Active local events and festivals
Cons that are real:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Chain restaurants dominate
Financially, we've found it challenging compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are stable, gas is excellent.
Socially, I genuinely enjoy living here. Hope this helps!.

Used to live on the Pine Hills side, now on the North side. Completely different vibe. it exceeded my expectations.
