Healthcare options in Gorham?

Been meaning to ask this. I relocated for work and Homes are going for about $459,000 on average. Rent is about $1,518/month for a decent place. The weather takes some getting used to. The city has invested a lot in new development. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Am I wrong here? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The weather takes some getting used to. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The city has invested a lot in new development. The city has invested a lot in new development. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem pretty good.

I've been here 3 years and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The thing nobody mentions is community vibe. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the cost of living is legit. And if you're into surfing, this place is decent.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Uptown side vs the West side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is walkability. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Worth doing your research before committing.

Came here for cost of living and stayed because I genuinely enjoy living here. The school system is honestly surprisingly good and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value housing market, you'll love it. The public transit is genuinely underrated and I've found I love the pace of life here. My neighborhood (Sunset) is competitive and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Minneapolis, be prepared for the culture shock. outdoor recreation is completely different here. And Property taxes are high.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Weather-wise, the summers are hit or miss and winters are established. You get used to it after the first year.
