I grew up here but left for a while. Poverty rate is 14.8%, which is around average. It's a a small town city with about 17,537 people. Average temperature is around 60--F, so the weather is moderate. You can expect to pay around $990 for rent here. The weather takes some getting used to. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Would love some local perspective. Any help is appreciated. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.
