Graham quality of life -am I missing something?
Just moved here 10 months ago and With a population of 35,090, Graham is a smaller city. Crime rate is something to consider -Graham sits at 112.8 per 100K. The unemployment rate is 3.9%, which is pretty low. It's a a smaller city city with about 35,090 people. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.
Pros:
- Lots of new development
- Good healthcare facilities
- Good internet infrastructure
Cons:
- Sprawl everywhere
- Limited dining options
- Few job opportunities in some fields
Has anyone dealt with this? Any help is appreciated. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The weather takes some getting used to. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.
