It's a a smaller city city with about 58,882 people. The weather takes some getting used to. What would you do? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a HR manager who relocated here from Denver about 7 years ago. The main reasons were work and work.
Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Good healthcare facilities
- Close to major attractions
Cons that are real:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Nightlife is limited
Financially, we've found it improving compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are stable, gas is tough.
Socially, it's not perfect but it works for me. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Moved here from Seattle about 3 years ago. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Still getting used to housing market but It's not for everyone but it works for us..
