Is Grand Island a good place to live?

Longtime lurker here, Just moved here 17 months ago and Crime rate is something to consider -Grand Island sits at 455.4 per 100K. With a population of 52,761, Grand Island is a smaller city. The city has invested a lot in new development.

Public transit is hit or miss here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's not perfect but it works for me.
