Not sure if this has been asked before, but My partner and I are It's a a smaller city city with about 52,761 people. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Should I be concerned? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a physical therapist who relocated here from Dallas about 4 years ago. The main reasons were work and cost of living.
Pros I've experienced:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Good healthcare facilities
Cons that are real:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Nightlife is limited
Financially, we've found it better than expected compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are growing, gas is solid.
Socially, I have mixed feelings honestly. No regrets on my end..
