Biggest downsides of living in Grand Prairie?

OK so I'm a college student here and Homes are going for about $272,200 on average. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The suburbs are where most families end up. Is this normal for Grand Prairie? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is school system. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Worth doing your research before committing.
