Job market in Grand Prairie — what industries are hiring?
I'm in finance and considering a move to Grand Prairie, TX. How's the job market there? The unemployment rate shows 3.6% which seems pretty good. But what does it actually look like on the ground?
Is it easy to network and find opportunities?

Can confirm the safety issue. But it really depends on the neighborhood. Oakwood and University District are perfectly safe.

For families, I'd recommend looking at Old Town. Schools are rated well and it's quiet.

Rent tip: look for places in January-February. Prices drop and there's more availability.

Coming from LA, the cost of living difference is noticeable. Groceries and gas are cheaper.
