Hey, I'm a teacher here and Homes are going for about $225,500 on average. It's changing fast — some good, some not so much. The weather takes some getting used to. Has anyone dealt with this? Any help is appreciated. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

I've lived in East for about 12 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it's been a really good experience overall. When I first moved here from Dallas, I was surprised by food scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Decent public transit for the size
- Good internet infrastructure
- The safety scene is solid
The downsides:
- Winters are long and cold
- Property taxes are high
Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for young professionals. Definitely worth checking out..

Used to live on the Sunset side, now on the South side. Completely different vibe. it's not perfect but it works for me.

I've been living here for 8 years and I'd say I'm still on the fence after all this time. The community vibe is average compared to other places I've lived. Overall Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
