Things Grand Rapids needs to improve

Been meaning to ask this. Been living here since 2011. The median home value here is around $225,500, which is actually reasonable. Household incomes average around $65,526 in Grand Rapids. The unemployment rate is 3.4%, which is pretty low. Rent is about $1,191/month for a decent place. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Worth the trade-offs? Cheers. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The weather takes some getting used to. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The city has invested a lot in new development. The city has invested a lot in new development. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.
