Been living here since 2006. With a population of 25,821, Grandview is a smaller city. Average temperature is around 55--F, so expect cold winters. The median home value here is around $171,200, which is actually reasonable. It's a a smaller city city with about 25,821 people. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The weather takes some getting used to. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Am I overthinking this? The food scene here is surprisingly good. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Moved here from Baltimore about 9 years ago. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Still getting used to school system but Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is healthcare. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Worth doing your research before committing.
