Longtime lurker here, Average temperature is around 55--F, so expect cold winters. Crime rate is something to consider -Grandview sits at 767.3 per 100K. Poverty rate is 12.8%, which is around average. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Am I wrong here? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The weather takes some getting used to. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.
