Best areas to explore in Granger?

Anyone else feel this way? Average temperature is around 50--F, so expect cold winters. Median household income is $117,348, which feels pretty solid for the area. The unemployment rate is 2.9%, which is pretty low. Poverty rate is 2.8%, which is pretty low. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Cheers. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The suburbs are where most families end up. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want school system, then yeah this place is great. But if food scene matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a lawyer who relocated here from Denver about 2 years ago. The main reasons were weather and weather.

Pros I've experienced:
- Lots of new development happening
- Four distinct seasons
- Strong sense of community

Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Rising rent and home prices

Financially, we've found it improving compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are established, gas is tough.

Socially, I genuinely enjoy living here. Good luck with whatever you decide..

Public transit is tough here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's exactly what I was looking for.
