So, I'm a college student here and With a population of 30,279, Granger is a smaller city. Median household income is $117,348, which feels pretty solid for the area. Average temperature is around 50--F, so expect cold winters. Household incomes average around $117,348 in Granger. The city has invested a lot in new development. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The suburbs are where most families end up. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a data analyst who relocated here from Dallas about 3 years ago. The main reasons were quality of life and work.
Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Close to major attractions
Cons that are real:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Far from beaches/mountains
Financially, we've found it better than expected compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are manageable, gas is improving.
Socially, it's not perfect but it works for me. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a contractor who relocated here from Charlotte about 10 years ago. The main reasons were a job opportunity and weather.
Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Affordable housing options
- Diverse dining options
Cons that are real:
- Nightlife is limited
- Limited high-paying job options
Financially, we've found it better than expected compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are reasonable, gas is excellent.
Socially, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Definitely worth checking out..

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 2-bedroom. I love the pace of life here. Compared to Salt Lake City it's excellent.
