Affordable areas near Granite City?

I relocated for work and The unemployment rate is 3.8%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $60,490, which feels about average for the area. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. What neighborhoods would you suggest?

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want job market, then yeah this place is great. But if school system matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
