How is the nightlife in Granite City?
Hi all, I grew up here but left for a while. Crime rate is something to consider -Granite City sits at 822.9 per 100K. You can expect to pay around $761 for rent here. It's a a smaller city city with about 26,670 people. Homes are going for about $99,800 on average. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Thoughts? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.
