Anyone else feel this way? I grew up here but left for a while. Rent is about $1,160/month for a decent place. The unemployment rate is 3.5%, which is pretty low. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Let me know your thoughts. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.
