Thinking about relocating to Grantsville from Tucson

Not sure if this has been asked before, but The median home value here is around $432,200, which is pretty steep. Household incomes average around $97,216 in Grantsville. You can expect to pay around $1,062 for rent here. The unemployment rate is 2.4%, which is pretty low. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The city has invested a lot in new development. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Hot take but it's exactly what I was looking for. I know a lot of people disagree but after 4 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem average.

I've been here 12 years and it's improved dramatically in recent years. The thing nobody mentions is school system. It's affordable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the weather is legit. And if you're into rock climbing, this place is surprisingly good.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Oak Park side vs the Eastside side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Feel free to reach out with questions..
