Job market in Grapevine for tech?

Alright, I'm single, late 20s, and Rent is about $1,806/month for a decent place. Crime rate is something to consider -Grapevine sits at 121.3 per 100K. With a population of 50,875, Grapevine is a smaller city. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Would love some local perspective. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

I've lived in Riverside for about 14 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's not perfect but it works for me. When I first moved here from Miami, I was surprised by walkability. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Good schools in most areas
- The community vibe scene is hit or miss

The downsides:
- Winters are long and cold
- Chain restaurants dominate

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for remote workers. No regrets on my end..
