Things Grayslake needs to improve

Curious what people think. Median household income is $113,697, which feels pretty solid for the area. Crime rate is something to consider -Grayslake sits at 62.3 per 100K. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

As someone who grew up here, it's exactly what I was looking for. A lot has changed in the past few years though. dating scene used to be much affordable but now it's pretty good.

Weather-wise, the summers are tough and winters are established. You get used to it after the first year.
