I've been looking at the stats and Greeley shows relatively low crime stats. But stats don't always tell the full story. For people who actually live there — do you feel safe? Are there areas to avoid?
I'm especially interested in hearing from women living alone.

Respectfully disagree about the cost of living assessment. In my experience, it really depends on your lifestyle.

Coming from Dallas, the cost of living difference is noticeable. Groceries and gas are cheaper.

I've lived in Southside for 13 years and it's still one of the best decisions I made.

Great post! One thing I'd mention is the west side tends to be more affordable. Makes a big difference.

Don't sleep on Eastside. It's up and coming and still affordable.

Weather is the biggest factor for us. Four seasons are nice, not too extreme either way.

Downtown is overrated and overpriced. The suburbs offer way better value.

Can confirm the safety issue. But it really depends on the neighborhood. University District and Cedar Hills are perfectly safe.
