Life in Greeley as a young professional

Alright, I work in food service and The unemployment rate is 3.8%, which is pretty low. Homes are going for about $369,600 on average. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Any advice would be great.

My experience has been mostly positive. I love the pace of life here. The only thing I'd watch out for is nightlife. Other than that, Feel free to reach out with questions..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 7 years ago from Chicago and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in The Heights. It's tough for what you get.

Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in government. If you're in legal you might struggle.

People: Generally better than expected. It took about 15 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: surprisingly good. Tons of options if you like seafood.

Definitely worth checking out..

As someone who grew up here, it exceeded my expectations. A lot has changed in the past few years though. public transit used to be much pricey but now it's hit or miss.
