First time home buyer in Green Acres

Curious what people think. My family moved here when I was a kid. Poverty rate is 12.4%, which is around average. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Should I be concerned? Cheers. The weather takes some getting used to. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The city has invested a lot in new development.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Internet is pretty good in most areas.
