Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm a teacher here and The median home value here is around $191,500, which is actually reasonable. Average temperature is around 49--F, so expect cold winters. The unemployment rate is 2.9%, which is pretty low. You can expect to pay around $904 for rent here. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Thoughts? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Property taxes are high but you get good services. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.
