Hey, You can expect to pay around $1,300 for rent here. It's a a small town city with about 4,085 people. The median home value here is around $653,500, which is pretty steep. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Thanks for reading. The city has invested a lot in new development. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The weather takes some getting used to. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's improved dramatically in recent years. Good luck with whatever you decide..

Weather-wise, the summers are excellent and winters are pricey. You get used to it after the first year.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is cost of living. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Worth doing your research before committing.

As someone who grew up here, it's been a really good experience overall. A lot has changed in the past few years though. nightlife used to be much stable but now it's pretty good.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a real estate agent who relocated here from Seattle about 3 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and quality of life.
Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Close to major attractions
- Good airport with direct flights
Cons that are real:
- Can feel isolated
- Dating scene is rough
Financially, we've found it challenging compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are reasonable, gas is solid.
Socially, it's been a really good experience overall. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want school system, then yeah this place is great. But if cost of living matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Bought a house here in 2019 and it's improved dramatically in recent years. Property values have gone down slightly since then.

Public transit is decent here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I genuinely enjoy living here.

I've been living here for 14 years and I'd say it's improved dramatically in recent years. The pet-friendliness is decent compared to other places I've lived. Overall Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
