Is Green River getting better or worse?

Hi all, We have two kids and The unemployment rate is 3.9%, which is pretty low. Average temperature is around 44--F, so bundle up in winter. The suburbs are where most families end up. The city has invested a lot in new development. Worth the trade-offs? I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

Bought a house here in 2021 and the quality of life is solid. Property values have gone about the same since then.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it exceeded my expectations. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
