Hey folks, We have two kids and It's a a smaller city city with about 43,871 people. The median home value here is around $244,700, which is actually reasonable. Rent is about $1,709/month for a decent place. Median household income is $62,917, which feels about average for the area. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The city has invested a lot in new development. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The weather takes some getting used to. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.
