Top 5 things I love about Greenacres

Been meaning to ask this. I'm retired and Rent is about $1,709/month for a decent place. Average temperature is around 76--F, so it's warm year-round. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Would love some local perspective.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a sales manager who relocated here from New York about 7 years ago. The main reasons were weather and a job opportunity.

Pros I've experienced:
- Decent public transit for the size
- Close to major attractions
- Affordable housing options

Cons that are real:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Limited entertainment options

Financially, we've found it challenging compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are developing, gas is better than expected.

Socially, it exceeded my expectations. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
