Hello, With a population of 43,871, Greenacres is a smaller city. Am I wrong here?

I've been living here for 15 years and I'd say I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The cultural scene is pretty good compared to other places I've lived. Overall Happy to answer more specific questions..

We moved here with our family and it's been a really good experience overall. Schools in South area are solid. Kids love it here.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a social worker who relocated here from New York about 12 years ago. The main reasons were weather and a fresh start.

Pros I've experienced:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Strong job market in several industries
- Good airport with direct flights

Cons that are real:
- Can feel isolated
- Far from beaches/mountains

Financially, we've found it hit or miss compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are wild, gas is tough.

Socially, I love the pace of life here. Good luck with whatever you decide..
