Alright, We're a young couple and You can expect to pay around $1,807 for rent here. Household incomes average around $86,352 in Greenbelt. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The food scene here is surprisingly good. What do you all think? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem tough.
I've been here 1 years and it was the best decision I ever made. The thing nobody mentions is housing market. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the cost of living is legit. And if you're into photography, this place is decent.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Downtown side vs the Meadowbrook side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

I've been living here for 4 years and I'd say it's exactly what I was looking for. The cultural scene is underrated compared to other places I've lived. Overall It's not for everyone but it works for us..

I'm a social worker and I've found it's been a really good experience overall. The community is underrated and there's always something going on.
