Just moved to Greendale, any tips?

Been meaning to ask this. The unemployment rate is 1.3%, which is pretty low. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are solid, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

I'm a sales manager and I've found it's not perfect but it works for me. The community is surprisingly good and there's always something going on.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a project manager who relocated here from Raleigh about 6 years ago. The main reasons were weather and a job opportunity.

Pros I've experienced:
- Decent public transit for the size
- Active local events and festivals
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Winters are long and cold

Financially, we've found it underrated compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are manageable, gas is excellent.

Socially, I'm still on the fence after all this time. Definitely worth checking out..
