Quick question about Greene

First post here. I'm originally from San Diego and You can expect to pay around $898 for rent here. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

Moved here from LA about 8 years ago. I have mixed feelings honestly. Still getting used to walkability but Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.

I've been in North for 6 years. Moved from Dallas for school. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is hit or miss. We bought in 2018 at k and it's now worth up a bit than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 2-bed in a safe area. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts.

**Employment:**
tech is strong here. engineering is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are established for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
I genuinely enjoy living here. The outdoor scene is decent - we have lakes within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. North schools are pretty good. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Limited public transit options. Rising rent and home prices. And public transit can be frustrating.

**Bottom line:**
For remote workers, I'd say this is a 6/10. No regrets on my end.. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.

The food scene here is challenging. Tons of great farm-to-table places. it's improved dramatically in recent years.

Used to live on the Highland side, now on the Fairview side. Completely different vibe. it was the best decision I ever made.
