Why I chose Greeneville over bigger cities

Hello, I've been here for 5 years and The median home value here is around $210,700, which is actually reasonable. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Any advice would be great. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

I'm a sales manager and I've found I'm still on the fence after all this time. The community is surprisingly good and there's always something going on.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 6 years ago from Nashville and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Meadowbrook. It's challenging for what you get.

Jobs: The market is competitive right now, especially in finance. If you're in education you might struggle.

People: Generally improving. It took about 18 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: surprisingly good. Tons of options if you like Italian.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Moved here from Charlotte about 9 years ago. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Still getting used to public transit but No regrets on my end..
