Cost of living reality check -Greenfield

Hi all, I relocated for work and Average temperature is around 56--F, so the weather is moderate. Poverty rate is 20.2%, which is higher than I expected. Crime rate is something to consider -Greenfield sits at 382.0 per 100K. Median household income is $32,930, which feels on the lower side for the area. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The suburbs are where most families end up. Any advice would be great. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The weather takes some getting used to. The weather takes some getting used to. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

My experience has been mostly positive. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The only thing I'd watch out for is traffic. Other than that, Happy to answer more specific questions..

We moved here with our family and I'm still on the fence after all this time. Schools in Downtown area are improving. Kids love it here.

Came here for quality of life and stayed because it's improved dramatically in recent years. The job market is honestly average and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
