Alright, I relocated for work and Crime rate is something to consider -Greenfield sits at 171.2 per 100K. The median home value here is around $247,800, which is actually reasonable. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The weather takes some getting used to. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The weather takes some getting used to. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

The food scene here is excellent. Tons of great Italian places. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 1-bedroom. it's exactly what I was looking for. Compared to Baltimore it's excellent.

Public transit is average here. You'll probably need a car for most things. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad.

My experience has been mostly positive. it exceeded my expectations. The only thing I'd watch out for is outdoor recreation. Other than that, Definitely worth checking out..

I work in education here and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The job market for my field is average. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want outdoor recreation, then yeah this place is great. But if weather matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

I've lived in Pine Hills for about 7 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it's improved dramatically in recent years. When I first moved here from New York, I was surprised by healthcare. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Four distinct seasons
- The pet-friendliness scene is average
The downsides:
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
- Dating scene is rough
Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for young professionals. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
