Honest thoughts on life in Greenlawn

I'm retired and Homes are going for about $626,700 on average. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Thoughts? Cheers. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The weather takes some getting used to. Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a contractor who relocated here from Atlanta about 12 years ago. The main reasons were a job opportunity and a job opportunity.

Pros I've experienced:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Decent public transit for the size

Cons that are real:
- Nightlife is limited
- Can feel isolated

Financially, we've found it surprisingly good compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are competitive, gas is average.

Socially, it's not perfect but it works for me. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
