I'm a college student here and Crime rate is something to consider -Greenock sits at 102.0 per 100K. Rent is about $1,081/month for a decent place. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. What are your go-to spots? Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The suburbs are where most families end up. The weather takes some getting used to. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.
