Job market in Greenville for tech?

Hello, Homes are going for about $100,800 on average. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a nurse who relocated here from San Francisco about 7 years ago. The main reasons were family and my partner's job.

Pros I've experienced:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Lots of new development happening
- Four distinct seasons

Cons that are real:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Limited high-paying job options

Financially, we've found it hit or miss compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are growing, gas is decent.

Socially, it's not perfect but it works for me. Definitely worth checking out..

As someone who grew up here, it's exactly what I was looking for. A lot has changed in the past few years though. safety used to be much competitive but now it's surprisingly good.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a software engineer who relocated here from Boston about 10 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and work.

Pros I've experienced:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Active local events and festivals
- Strong sense of community

Cons that are real:
- Nightlife is limited
- Dating scene is rough

Financially, we've found it average compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are developing, gas is tough.

Socially, it's exactly what I was looking for. Hope this helps!.
