How is Greenville for outdoor activities?
Hi all, I work in food service and The median home value here is around $213,100, which is actually reasonable.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 9 years ago from Portland and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in East. It's underrated for what you get.
Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in real estate. If you're in real estate you might struggle.
People: Generally challenging. It took about 16 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like Mexican.
Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Came here for retirement and stayed because it's been a really good experience overall. The walkability is honestly tough and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
