Working in Greenville -salaries realistic?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but Average temperature is around 63--F, so the weather is moderate. You can expect to pay around $983 for rent here. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. What do you all think? It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 9 years ago from Denver and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Sunset. It's pretty good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in construction. If you're in government you might struggle.

People: Generally better than expected. It took about 9 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: better than expected. Tons of options if you like farm-to-table.

Definitely worth checking out..
