Is Greenville still affordable?

Hello, My partner and I are Crime rate is something to consider -Greenville sits at 306.8 per 100K. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Has anyone dealt with this? The suburbs are where most families end up.

I've lived in The Heights for about 2 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's been a really good experience overall. When I first moved here from Atlanta, I was surprised by cost of living. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Good schools in most areas
- The walkability scene is tough

The downsides:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Urban sprawl is real

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for singles. Feel free to reach out with questions..
