Best neighborhoods to rent in Greenville?

Been meaning to ask this. I've been here for 16 years and Average temperature is around 60--F, so the weather is moderate. Property taxes are high but you get good services. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. What do you all think? TIA! It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

My experience has been mostly positive. it's not perfect but it works for me. The only thing I'd watch out for is healthcare. Other than that, Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a data analyst who relocated here from Salt Lake City about 5 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and quality of life.

Pros I've experienced:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Good healthcare facilities
- Decent public transit for the size

Cons that are real:
- Limited entertainment options
- Far from beaches/mountains

Financially, we've found it improving compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are competitive, gas is surprisingly good.

Socially, I genuinely enjoy living here. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
