Anyone else feel this way? Rent is about $1,248/month for a decent place. It's a a smaller city city with about 71,755 people. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Any advice would be great. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.
