Is Greenwood walkable?

Hey everyone, Homes are going for about $177,300 on average. It's a a small town city with about 9,570 people. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. What neighborhoods would you suggest? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

Moved here from Portland about 13 years ago. I have mixed feelings honestly. Still getting used to pet-friendliness but It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's not perfect but it works for me. Good luck with whatever you decide..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem surprisingly good.

I've been here 6 years and it's improved dramatically in recent years. The thing nobody mentions is traffic. It's reasonable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the cultural scene is legit. And if you're into camping, this place is improving.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The South side vs the West side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I genuinely enjoy living here. Internet is decent in most areas.

Used to live on the Highland side, now on the Eastside side. Completely different vibe. it exceeded my expectations.
